Discovering me!

I think it is about time to be me.

I have, like many, become lost in the conformist society where being an individual is frowned upon.

I am discovering myself, who I am and what I truly value in this life.

On the outside, I am a dedicated single mum, who works part time. A beauty therapist, who loves cats! A dippy, underconfident and contained person who makes people laugh and roll their eyes at all the idiotic things I do.

In truth, as far as I have come to learn at this point...I am a self confessed cat lady, who loves colourful things but reigns in my rainbow tendancies. I love lazy days doing NOTHING, where the world does not exist. ;) I am a traitor to all things spiritual, for I believe and crave the alternative lifestyles, where you are in touch with nature and spirit. Yet I remain encased in the hussle and bussle of the every day, robots R us life.

I hide my excitement when I see horses. I very often stop in the street to rescue a snail who is making a perilous journey towards a road or stomping feet. Yes...I save bugs to. I like animals more than humans. Not ashamed to say so. :)

I believe that it is not healthy to be as sectioned off as I am. I feel that my qualities are dispersed and floating around, and I am not able to catch hold of some of these parts of me. I want to bring together all of my quirks and feel like a whole person.

So heres my journey.
